    • another vintage abstract is from the later works of the artist Philip North painted in 1985
    • North was born in Michigan, in 1917,  he studied various styles of art at Grand Rapids Junior College and later taught art at the Grand Rapids Art Gallery in Michigan.  Being an enthusiastic, energetic and adventurous man, North moved to Arizona in 1980 where he began incorporating his inspiration of the desert landscape into his paintings
